PassTime GPS has been in business for more than 25 years in the global transportation industry. Our wireless GPS telematics products are available for multiple sectors of the automotive industry including auto dealers, auto finance companies, auto leasing companies, insurance companies and fleet transportation provider’s. We design, engineer, manufacture and distribute our own products and we have more than 50 patents protecting our technology.
In 1997, PassTime created its first Automated Collection Technology (ACT) product. Over the next several years, a Suite of Products evolved that offer GPS tracking, wireless, and Automated Collection Technology products and services designed to meet the needs of a highly diverse industry of car dealers and special finance companies. Stanley G. Schwarz, Founder & CEO
Stan Schwarz is the founder and owner of PassTime GPS Tracking Solutions. Stan received his undergraduate degree from Oakland University and a master’s degree in design from Ball State University. He has been entrenched in the auto industry since 1990 when he and his partner Jeffrey (Jake) Frank started Gordon * Howard Associates, Inc. Today Gordon * Howard Associates (PassTime), develops, designs and manufactures consumer electronics for the automotive industry. They have focused their work on servicing automotive dealerships and finance companies for nearly twenty years.
Jeffrey H. Frank, Founder & EVP
Jeffrey (Jake) Frank is the founder and owner of PassTime. Jake received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and a master’s degree from the University of Virginia. He has worked in the auto industry since 1990 when he and his partner, Stan Schwarz, founded Gordon * Howard Associates, Inc. which has been developing products for the automobile industry including PassTime since 1992. Today PassTime manufactures consumer electronics for the special finance sector of the automobile industry. They have focused their efforts on automobile dealerships and finance companies for nearly twenty years.
Alan Vordermeier Jr., Board Member
Alan Vordermeier, Jr. is a board member of PassTime GPS and has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive, motorsports and marketing industries. He is the former Founder/CEO of Performance 1 which was one of the largest sales organizations in NASCAR in the 1990’s and the Founder/CEO of Automated Auto Finance which is a software portal designed to refinance auto loans. Alan is also the Co-founder with Stan Schwarz of Credit Time Acceptance which was set up to purchase auto loans from auto dealers. Alan has extensive experience involving franchise dealer operations and also manages our Ferrari motorsports initiative, our luxury telematics division, F&I company partnerships, international sales initiatives including Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific and mergers and acquisitions. Alan is also the co-author of two (2) automotive patents relative to a process for obtaining an auto loan online or through a smartphone app.
Chris Macheca, EVP/Chief Operating Officer
Chris Macheca completed his undergraduate studies at Regis University in 1997 with a degree in business administration while captaining the lacrosse team. He joined PassTime in 1998 and has been an integral part of the success ever since. During his career at PassTime, Chris has been involved in all areas including sales, development, IT, operations, and manufacturing and has managed all operations since 2003. He received his MBA in Operations from Regis University in 2007 graduating with honors.
Michael Scapini, Chief Financial Officer
Michael V. Scapini is the Chief Financial Officer of Gordon * Howard Associates, Inc. Michael received his Bachelor of Accounting degree from Wayne State University. Michael is also owner of Scapini and Company, an accounting firm located in Michigan, since 1983.
Jerry Morgan, Executive Vice President Of Product Development
Jerry Morgan has been in the computer systems and software industry for over 30 years and is responsible for the leading company’s product development activities. Prior to joining PassTime, he served in numerous senior leadership roles with Transparence, Berkeley Software (BSDi), AT&T Labs Internet Platforms Organization, and the Santa Cruz Operation (SCO). Jerry is the author and co-author of numerous awarded and pending patents in location-based services and incident response technologies.
Franco Chirico, Executive Vice President of Manufacturing
Franco has been part of the success of PassTime since the near beginning, joining the team 2003. Franco brings more than a decade worth of electronic and component experience to the team as was an integral part of the company’s initial wireless development projects. During his tenure, Franco has been involved in product design and development, purchasing, and quality assurance. Currently, Franco oversees all manufacturing operations.
Peter Fowler, President PassTime Fleet
Peter Fowler was prior to joining PassTime the long time supplier of the underlying cellular/GPS technology used in PassTime telematics products. He held various roles for the former Siemens entity including President of the regional entities covering the Americas and later Executive Global Head of Sales. Coming into PassTime from a larger and fast growing organization, Peter’s role at PassTime is to deliver the best practices that alongside the Executive team drive PassTimes growth strategy. Key areas of focus have been; diversification into new telematics segments including Fleet, ODM/Manufacturing strategy, technology/cellular roadmap planning, and sales and marketing automation and strategy.
